"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 continues next with episode 16, "While You Were Sleeping," and on Thursday, March 6, the CW released a new sneak preview teasing what to expect.
We don't have a description yet for this next "Vampire Diaries" episode, but the last episode,"Gone Girl," saw that while everyone may have found out that Katherine was in Elena's body all this time, Katherine still had a plan. She wasn't about to let Elena get to have everything she wanted, so after finding Wes' body, she injected Elena with one of his syringes. However, Katherine ran into some more trouble when she found she couldn't move on through Bonnie and, instead, Bonnie could only watch as she was dragged off by some invisible force.
Now, the "While You Were Sleeping" promo shows Elena dealing with the virus. "It's in your head," Bonnie tells her. What's going to happen to Elena? And now that Elena's back in control of her body, what does this mean for Damon and Elena? "I love you," she tells him. "Well then stop loving me!" He replies. "I can’t," she says, and they kiss.
